Ensofic Reiki
Ensofic Reiki is the original system of Reiki which originated from the Japanese spiritual seeker, Mikao Usui, who experienced this energy for the first time following his pilgrimage to seek enlightenment and death/rebirth on Mount Kurama in Japan in 1922. He returned from a period of fasting and meditation and when he injured his foot, found he could heal it with touch. From this discovery and period of deep meditation he channeled with the full system of Reiki, which he then passed down to a group of select students in Japan. From there, it spread around the world.
